Q. How does TOKI differ from other bridges?
We adopt IBC and the multi-prover model to realize efficient, scalable, and trust-minimized connections among any chains.
IBC is the most comprehensive, truly open, and the most proven interoperability standard. We believe IBC connections will explode as the internet of blockchains in the upcoming years once it gets implemented on every major chain.
In addition, the multi-prover security model is adopted in IBC. Currently, we have diverse approaches to verify the validity of transactions, such as multi-sig/MPC, intermediate-chain(PoS), ZK, TEE, and so forth. However, no one has a one-size-fits-all approach, and unfortunately, most bridges sacrifice security, which we must consider as a top priority. That is why we employ a combination of TEEs, MPC, and ZKP to make up for the shortcomings of each feature and provide efficient, scalable, and trust-minimized connections.
